SOCIAL VISIT

Today January 27 we visited shalom school as a part of our social visit. It is a shelter for 100 of mentally and physicaly retarded children.

Helping mentally retarded children requires patience, empathy, and understanding. It is important to create a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. Tailoring activities to their individual abilities and strengths can help build their confidence and improve their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Communication can also be challenging, so using clear and simple language, visuals, and gestures can aid in their understanding.I saw collaboration of all these efforts from the side of mentors who were taking care of those children.

More than that this experience brought in me the real meaning of social work and the endless spirit to be a part of it❤
